I booked what I thought was a room WITH a sea view. room seven looks directly into the Turner Gallery. I could only see A PARTIAL view of the sea. The room felt quite small. I do not believe it reflected the price i paid.

The location is quite convenient, near the train station and the beach.

I didn't receive the room I booked through the website, I was hoping for a nice room with a view, but I got something else. The staff apologized, they insisted the room was what I booked. Contacting customer service about this issue did not resolve it.

nice variety chef table poached eggs sound insulation buzzing sound air conditioning

i found the breakfast very nice with a good variety. i especially enjoyed the chef's table. my partner had poached eggs on toast.. he enjoyed them very much. we also had dinner there one evening, and while the menu was limited, everything we chose tasted nicely cooked.

i think the sound insulation could be improved as i could clearly hear people talking in the next room. there was also a strange buzzing sound , made it difficult to sleep. i mentioned it to the staff the next morning, but they didn't seem surprised, suggesting it might be related to the air conditioning system.
